New credit reporting lawyer referral site with dispute forum: MyFairCredit.com
From about us at MyFairCredit.com:
Held Hostage By Unfair Reporting?
* Theft of Identity: Are you the victim of theft of identity and no one listens?
* Mismerge: Has a business merged your credit with someone else?
* Re-aging: Is a collection agency reporting a debt as more recent than it actually is to shake you down?
* Error: Is a company reporting false information to credit reporting bureaus intentionally or through incompetence?
* Pulled report: Has someone made an inquiry on your credit report illegally?

PLEASE let me know the good, the bad and the ugly about your experiences at MyFairCredit.com. As regular readers know, I’ve had a lot to say about cream-skimming consumer attorneys and I depend on your feedback to properly evaluate this brand-new site.
I was offered a link at MyFairCredit.com if I link to it here and I decided to accept the offer. After all, 99.99% of all consumers who SHOULD sue can’t find an attorney to take their case on contingency. So hopefully they’ll find my sites so that they can see what they’re in for if they sue pro se. I’ve been offering to pay a few thousand for an initial retainer and I still haven’t found a lawyer with a clue. And yes, I saw the AZ firm of Hyung S. Choi listed and he actually sounds quite competent. I thought I’d contacted every consumer lawyer in AZ, but can’t remember Mr. Choi. I’ll of course let you know what he has to say.
So far, my readers’ and clients’ experiences with lawyers can be summed up as follows:
If you’re not rich or a victim of “sexy ID theft” and you don’t have major DOCUMENTED damages, chances are no lawyer will want to deal with you.
Of course I hope this won’t be the case at MyFairCredit.com! Please post your experiences here.
