Equifax LEGAL blocking my report
Patricia was very nice, read through the notes and couldn't understand what was going on.She felt terrible to have to tell me to wait another 24 hours, but there was nothing she could do. Just talking to somebody who appears to care goes a long way - but still doesn't get me the report.
So I asked for a supervisor to confirm that there is nothing that can be done.
Albert 30534: The file is being reviewed by the legal department.
"The LEGAL department?" Albert told me that it's some security/legal issue, a flag came up when I tried to order.
"Which flag was that?"
According to Albert, it's my litigation against Equifax. Well, I haven't even served them yet, interesting.
Obviously there's nothing Albert can do about it, they're waiting for legal to ok the release of my online report.
I PREPAID!!!!! Equifax OWES me 3 reports with FICO scores. Not to mention the FCRA requirement for consumer disclusures.
I'm sure glad I can stop calling them now. Of course I won't be able to prove ANYTHING about the snake oil score CIC sold me, since I can't get my FICO Equifax score.
I'm just SO pissed off that they were feeding me all these lies about the "TECHNICAL" department, my report being too long, all that crap, wasting so much of my time.
