Choicepoint: Credit reporting, insurance, and voter lists

Choicepoint is a 1997 Equifax spinoff, you can buy their insurance score report at Equifax, and they do a lot of marketing and screening. So I thought!

Yesterday I checked out the forum at CENTRE FOR RESEARCH ON GLOBALIZATION (CRG) Today I followed some links about electronic voting fraud, and I ran across CHOICEPOINT.

I thought I wasn't seeing right. From Hoovers:

"The company's business and government services include pre-employment drug screening, shareholder searches, credential verification, and background checks. Expanding through acquisition, ChoicePoint has bought more than 30 companies since it was spun off from Equifax in 1997."

What does that have to do with VOTING?
