5-Year-Old girl handcuffed at school by police

Seeing is believing.

Handcuffing Of 5-Year-Old—A Picture Postcard Of America’s Decline

The little girl is quietly sitting in a chair when the cops decide to handcuff her.

This big fat kindergarten teacher was afraid she’d get hurt by this little girl?

image

From http://www.kucinich.us/

“Marla Ruzicka, founder of the Campaign for Innocent Victims in Conflict (CIVIC) and her Iraqi co-worker Faiz were killed by an exploding car bomb on Saturday. She was in Iraq working to help document the number of civilians killed and injured by the war and to assist their families in applying for aid payments from the U.S. Marla had worked in Afghanistan with Global Exchange identifying civilian casualties, and has been active in getting the U.S. to appropriate funds for the families of war victims.”

Cairo Blast: Exclusive Eyewitness Account

Usually news about yet another bomb going off somewhere is just so dull.  I found the story below to be really fascinating, like being there.

The Nigerian roommate scam

I was looking at J-Walk’s blog spam & scams and found this presumably true story:

Nigerian Roommate Scam

The one thing that makes me think that it’s not true is the part about the bank teller accepting those fake money orders and counting out $5,000 in cash.

The best part is the filing of the police report, if it isn’t true, it certainly could be.  The “investigation” is exactly what you can expect, whether it’s due to an internet scam or ID theft.

I was EXTREMELY irritated by the deputy’s response to my ID theft complaint, making it sound like it’s a “normal” thing to expect when you utilize the internet.

And then there was that harassment investigation a few years ago when they PAID this moron ISP owner for consulting and they never got anywhere - while it would have been practically FREE to just do what I asked them to do and get the asshole.

Well, I enjoyed reading the Nigerian roommate story, quite colorful.

And this is a funny site, about the original Nigerian scams:

“ID theft isn’t funny!” Infecting liberals’ computers with spyware?

Since my sites were down, and I totally forgot about the debate today, I decided to listen to http://www.airamericaradio.com/ and I believe it was Mike Malloy who was doing the “after debate” show.

He gave out needsumwood-com[WARNING: MIGHT WANT YOU TO INSTALL MALICIOUS SPYWARE] for more laughs.  Of course I went to check it out and then I clicked on the link to the “Cool Ebay Auction” and there was this piece of wood for like $10 or so after a few bids.  I thought it was quite funny.
