Compass had sent me an ad for their Visa with a 0% balance transfer.
I sure could use an interest free balance transfer.
It was really strange that I had to call several times till they could take my application. They'd put me on hold for a long time, and then told me that they had computer problems and to call back the next day.
Finally, after another long hold due to a "slow computer", they took the application and declined. I'll get a letter, the guy said.
It sure is strange when you don't have a single late payment and you've had 2 accounts with a bank for almost 2 years, and they DECLINE you.
Paying your bills on time just doesn't do the trick!
Posted by Christine at September 13, 2003 05:35 PMI too have applied for a copasss credit transfer.
And all the same things happened to me.I still haven't heard if I am approved or declined. I have a 690 credit score so if I'am declined it will be at the least very odd.
