Since I didn't hear from her, I called. Somebody is searching the records downstairs right now.
I asked how many filings they get every month, and she told me that it varies and it's not only complaints, but all kinds of filings and documents.
Here's the kicker: they had already searched May, and now they're searching April. APPARENLTLY they don't enter anything in a computer system?
I've been wondering why they could not locate my check, clearly deposited into their account. What's with their accounting system? *I* can certainly search Quicken by the dollar amount, the date of deposit, the name, the check #, I can find a check in no time.
Pacific Bell can't find anything.
